We provide clear pricing before any work begins. Free assessment on most drives means you'll know exactly what it will cost to recover your data - with no surprises or hidden fees.
Our transparent pricing structure helps you understand what to expect. These are typical price ranges - your exact quote will be provided after our free assessment of your drive.
Single drives up to 2TB
Recovery time: 2-5 working days
Note: Deletion/formatting cases require £150 upfront fee. See Special Cases below.
Single drives up to 2TB
Recovery time: 7-12 working days
Single drives up to 2TB (except RAID)
Recovery time: 10-15 working days
We will provide a custom quote after our free assessment for larger drives, RAID arrays, or any other storage configuration. Your exact price will be confirmed before any work begins.
Logical failures are generally less expensive than physical damage requiring component replacement or cleanroom work.
SSDs, RAID arrays, and larger capacity drives may require more time and specialized techniques.
Emergency same-day or 24-hour services carry premium pricing due to dedicated technician time.
Some recoveries require donor parts, cleanroom work, or specialized tools which affect the final cost.
Good news! For most cases, our assessment is completely free with no obligation. If we can't recover your data, you pay nothing. And if you decide not to proceed after the assessment, we'll return your drive at no charge.
No recovery = No charge. It's that simple.
If your hard drive has been opened for any reason, we need to charge a £200 fee before we start. Here's why: opening a drive outside a clean room environment lets dust and particles inside, which means we need extra time to carefully inspect and decontaminate it before recovery can begin.
Important: This fee is required upfront and covers the specialist clean room work needed. It's in addition to the standard recovery fee if we're successful.
Recovering deleted or formatted files is tricky because we won't know which files can be recovered until we've completed the full scan. We require a £150 upfront fee because we'll attempt to recover everything possible, but deleted files may have been overwritten or only partially recoverable.
We'll work with you to get the best possible result, but there's always a risk with this type of recovery—you might not get back every file you need. If the result isn't what you hoped for, the £150 fee covers our engineer's time and costs.
Please note: With deletion/formatting recoveries, there's a chance you may pay and not recover all the files you need. You'll need to accept this risk before we proceed.
RAID arrays are complex beasts! For these cases, we may need to charge a per-drive evaluation fee to cover the time needed to assess multiple drives and reconstruct the array configuration. We'll discuss this with you upfront before starting any work.
Sometimes we need to use parts from a matching donor drive to facilitate your recovery (like replacement read/write heads). When this is needed, there's an additional fee to cover the cost of these specialist parts. We'll always let you know before proceeding.
